The 2026 Annual Election Period is approaching, and all members will need to select a new plan for the upcoming year. This can be a confusing time for our members, and Health Alliance™ is dedicated to connecting them with resources to help them find the right plan. During the AEP period, we will communicate with members through the following channels:
- The CMS required discontinuation notice – reaching members by September 30th.
- A mailing including a checklist of things to consider when picking a new plan and resources they can reach out to, including a reminder to reach out to their broker – reaching members the first week of October.
- Social media messages throughout the AEP period.
For many members, maintaining access to their trusted providers is critical. Providers may change the Medicare Advantage plans that they are contracted with. To confirm if provider accepts a specific Medicare Advantage plan, consider visiting their website.
